Cead Mile Failte! That’s Irish for 100,000 welcomes and while you may not reach 100,000, we can promise you a very warm welcome to Dublin, Ireland and the American College Dublin!

Our Study Abroad program at the American College Dublin offers an exceptional opportunity for students to immerse themselves in culture while pursuing an academic career in an international setting - not to mention that Dublin is renowned for its friendly people and exciting nightlife.

We may be a little partial, but we think our program is one of the best you’ll find. Because we are a fully accredited Irish institution, you’ll be in classes with students from all over the world. And as a study abroad student you’ll participate in activities and events all over Dublin and Ireland. This semester students have been to a Gaelic football match, a play in the Abbey theatre, an overnight trip to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher, and much much more! We understand that studying in Ireland is not just about the classes, it’s also learning about the culture and seeing this vibrant city and country.

The American College Dublin is located on historic Merrion Square in the heart of Dublin, and is within walking distance of the best cultural opportunities – theatres, museums, galleries, trendy restaurants and traditional pubs. While experiencing the culture, learning the traditions and enjoying the craic (Irish for good fun), students will earn credits toward their degree. At the beginning of each study term, students have the opportunity to embark either on an extensive study tour throughout Ireland or to participate in the Arts and Humanities study tour to Italy.
