28th April 2009 - The International Women’s Club Dublin Art Group held an art exhibition at the Irish American University/ Oscar Wilde House, Flaherty Cultural Centre, No. l Merrion Square, Dublin 2.
The works of twenty very talented ladies representing fourteen countries: Pakistan, Germany, Russia, France, United Kingdom, Holland, Ukraine, Sweden, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain, Brazil, Columbia and Ireland went on public display until 2 April in the Flaherty Cultural Centre, Oscar Wilde House.
The exhibition was hosted by the embassy of the Republic of Slovenia and H.E. Franc Miksa, Ambassador of Slovenia formally launched the exhibition and was joined by his wife Mrs Amalija Jelen Miksa. The President of The International Women’s Club Dublin, Mrs Nathaly Leers welcomed guests and acknowledged the support given by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia and Irish American University to this exhibition.
